Over the course of one year, I orchestrated four long distance, unguided photographic collaborations between two female photographers—who did not know each other— under the theme of an element.
One female photographer led me to another, and to another, and so on. I paired collaborators based on style and distance. Over the course of three months, they made work that was created together from an intimate email-based brainstorm and feedback process. I exhibited six final images from each element in an alternative and accessible outdoor space in New Orleans.
Exhibited on the banks of the River, affixed to cypress trees, attached to helium balloons, peppered about the French Quarter.
