I had the pleasure of working as one of the main prop photographers on HBO’s dreamy and dark police investigation series True Detective.
My work took me from the swamps to the sound stage while wading through creeks, listening to steam boats in the distance, and arranging prosthetic bodies under Spanish moss.
Most of my images appeared in case files and hung on walls. Here are some favorites critical to the storyline, and a handful of outtakes and photographs that never appeared on screen.
