RIVIERE FRIODE // Observation and education on Haiti’s Cold River
I spent 2 weeks teaching photography and shooting in the Port-Au-Prince suburb of Rivière Friode, Cold River in English. In partnership with the Haitian Association for Human Development and the local youth community organization Mejham, we worked with 56 students ages 10-16.
Note the portraits you see are of the activists and community organizers from Mejham, who served as translators, escorts, and inspiration.
